Visia facial analysis is an advanced technology which uses live image overlay to capture images of your face and skin to identify signs of ageing. Spotting these provides a wonderful opportunity to target the concerns raised before they begin to show.

VISIA FACIAL ANALYSIS IN HARLEY STREET & MAYFAIR, LONDON

We use the most advanced Visia facial analysis technology at L’Atelier Aesthetics clinic on Harley Street & Mayfair. The 7th-generation system uses IntelliFlash®, cross-polarised and UV lighting to record and measure skin conditions. The UV photography provides the most comprehensive data available for sun damage assessment and analysis, including UV fluorescence imaging to reveal porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores). It also allows us to see spider veins, hyperpigmentation, rosacea and acne far more clearly than ever before.

The system images 8 criteria including spots, wrinkles, texture, pores, UV spots, brown spots, red areas and porphyrins. This provides an incredible insight into your skin and enables us to suggest treatments that will prevent the problems we can see forming from actually happening.

The system assesses 8 areas including age spots, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, while comparing your skin to others of a similar age (Truskin Age). It can also predict how your skin will age and change over time.

  • Understanding your skin and the problems it could face can help you make changes to stop or reduce these issues in the future. We will talk through the analysis with you in detail and provide expert recommendations on possible treatments, skincare and lifestyle changes.

  • Obviously, this really does depend on your results and goals. Potential treatments could include chemical peels, micro-needling or mesotherapy. Wrinkle reduction and dermal fillers could be other options. We might also suggest changes to your home skincare routine and diet and lifestyle.

  • The actual analysis itself only takes a few moments. It’s a straightforward process that involves placing your chin on the rest while imaging takes place. Collating and going through your results to develop a bespoke treatment and/or skincare programme takes longer – expect to be with us for around 1 hour.

  • We’ll include a copy of all reports, recommendations and any other items discussed in your e-portfolio (all of our clients receive an e-portfolio after their first visit).

  • Not at all. Visia facial analysis is a completely non-invasive and pain-free way to gain true understanding and insight into your skin health.

  • No – at L’Atelier we consider Visia facial analysis to be an important element of caring for your skin for the longer term.
