Chemical Peels

For brighter, younger-looking skin

Harley Street, London

Chemical peels are ideal for refreshing and revitalising skin that looks tired, dull and lacking in radiance. They’re also highly effective in targeting specific concerns including acne, sun damage, pigmentation, fine line and wrinkles, and scarring.

They work by removing damaged outer layers of skin to reveal smoother, younger-looking skin beneath. At L’Atelier, we use a comprehensive and advanced range of chemical peels to suit your individual needs and achieve the results you’re looking for. Chemical peels hand-picked for efficacy and long-term results

By targeting the epidermis, chemical peels deliver remarkable results that last for longer. We’re here to talk through and determine the right chemical peel for you. The peels we provide include:

AlumierMD peels

Vitamin A Boost – potent and pure retinol and lactic acid to reduce the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation. Ideal for mature or sun damaged skin

Detox Clear – contains both salicylic and lactic acid to penetrate the pores and exfoliate at the same time. This peel works to smooth the skin, minimise pore size and reduce acne

Radiant 20/10 – is resurfacing peel that contains a combination of salicylic and lactic acid to improve skin tone and texture and exfoliate dead skin cells. Brilliant for fine lines, large pores, hyper pigmentation and sun damage

Radiant 30 – is a lactic acid resurfacing peel to exfoliate dead skin cells, boost cell turnover, and stimulate collagen production. This peel targets a range of skin conditions including fine lines, sun damage and large pores

Neostrata peels

This highly-effective range of peels delivers clinically-proven results. Our expert practitioners can tailor the peels to suit your skin and concerns based on the following Neostrata peels:

Clarifying peel – ideal for treating acne-prone or oily skin, this peel uses mandelic and citric acid to clear and soothe congested skin while calming inflammation

Brightening peel – with 30% citric acid, this advanced peel controls the signs of hyperpigmentation and sun damage

Rejuvenating glycolic acid skin-renewal peels – we can tailor the level of glycolic acid in this innovative peel to brighten and restore healthy skin.

Renowned for its anti-ageing properties, glycolic acid penetrates into the epidermis for beautiful, younger-looking skin

The Perfect Peel

This revolutionary medium depth peel promotes improved skin health for clearer, brighter skin in just a week. Glutathione is the peel’s key anti-ageing ingredient. As the ultimate antioxidant, it penetrates deep into your skin’s cellular level to fight oxidant damage and prevent premature lines and wrinkles.

Proven to improve the appearance of age spots and hyperpigmentation, glutathione is blended with kojic acid, TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol and vitamins and minerals to brighten and firm your skin while boosting collagen and elastin production.

TCA peels

TCA stands for trichloraceutic acid. It comes in many concentrations but is mainly used for medium-depth peeling. TCA peels are particularly effective for treating superficial wrinkles, acne scarring and sun-damaged skin.

Your Questions Answered

    • Are chemical peels right for everyone?

Most women and men will experience great benefits from chemical peels. We can talk through this during your consultation. Peels are ideal if you’d like to target sun damage, fine lines, shallow acne scars, dry or rough skin, dull skin tone, uneven pigmentation, acne or enlarged pores

    • How long does the treatment take?

This varies on the peel you’re having but expect to be with us for around 30 minutes.

    • Do I need to have more than one chemical peel?

You’ll certainly see results from a one-off peel but a course of treatments will deliver longer-lasting, sustainable outcomes.

    *Individual results may vary.

    • Is the treatment painful?

Some people experience a hot tingling sensation during the procedure but no it is not painful.

    • When will I see results?

The rejuvenating effects are immediately visible after your first treatment. If you have a course of chemical peels, results will improve even more over time.

    • Are there any side effects?

Redness, tingling and slight swelling can all occur after a chemical peel. Depending on the type/depth of chemical peel you have, you may need to allow for up to 3-4 days downtime after the treatment to allow your skin to calm down and stop peeling. This can be longer for deeper peels.

    *Individual results may vary.
