Hand Rejuvenation

Beautifully youthful hands

Harley street, London

As we grow older, our hands show the signs of ageing. Volume is lost resulting in more visible veins, tendons and bones and sun damage can make hands look older too.

Dermal fillers are a highly effective way of replacing lost volume as they are made from hyaluronic acid. This substance occurs naturally in our bodies to maintain healthy skin. At L’Atelier, we use a combination of fillers and biostimulation with Ellanse dermal fillers or collagen injections. Mesotherapy can also be used to target age spots.

The aim is to restore and rejuvenate your hands to add plumpness and youthful fullness with simple yet effective treatments. Read on to find out more.

Your Questions Answered

    • What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are gels made from hyaluronic acid. They are expertly injected into selected treatment areas to replace lost volume, smooth lines and wrinkles and restore a more youthful look.

    • How long does the treatment take?

You’ll usually be with us for 30-45 minutes. That gives us time for consultation and to answer any questions you might have.

    • How long do the results last?

The effects will usually last for around 12-18 months depending on the type of dermal filler, area treated and your metabolism.

    • Does it hurt?

Discomfort is usually very minor. The topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) we use is very effective. In addition, the dermal fillers also contain anaesthetic to reduce pain.

    *Individual results may vary.

    • How do I care for the area after treatment?

Any swelling or redness will subside soon after the treatment but until it does, avoid sun beds, saunas, steam rooms and extreme temperatures. There may be some minor bruising, but this will go down after a few days.

    • Are dermal fillers safe?

Dermal fillers are an extremely safe treatment and many thousands of procedures have been carried out. Allergic reactions are very rare.

    *Individual results may vary.

“My hands look so much younger after hand rejuvenation. I felt as though they were giving my age away, but now they look much plumper and younger. I had quite a few questions about the procedure, but they were answered openly and honestly during my consultation.”Lauren, Clapham
